Hi, this site is a small side project to showcase my research and share a part of my life outside of work.

Born in Yumbel, a small commune in the Bío-Bío region of Chile, and raised in Concepción, I can say that a part of me will always belong to Yumbel, where I shared many memorable moments with my maternal grandmother.

Fun Fact:

The 'Verde Nutritivo,' or 'Nutrive Green,' is a concept I developed, inspired by the predominantly green colour and profoundly healing nature of the South of Chile. Here, one can find joy in Creation, nourishing both the soul and the mind. 'VerdeNutritivo' encapsulates my deep love for nature, especially trees, which evoke treasured childhood memories. I often dream of living in a large leafy tree house, surrounded by the calming, nourishing effects and peace that nature offers. Additionally, green vegetables are my favorite; they help me stay healthy and strong.

'Jazz,' on the other hand, is a nickname that many relatives, friends, and colleagues use for me; it sounds like the first syllable of my name and is also a music genre I deeply enjoy. So, I came up with 'JazzVerdeNutritivo'—a perfect combination.

I am deeply interested in neuroscience, particularly in how we are capable of learning and the processes involved.

As you may have noticed, I am a fan of the series Friends; I can't get enough of it.
